A simple sterling hoop with a nugget of reclaimed antique pink depression glass! Made in great quantities during the 1930's and 1940's, now simply known as Depression Glass, this remarkable pink glass is highly prized among collectors around the world. These nuggets are from the remains of a perfume bottle.
In an effort to help the environment and protect the wildlife, the artist reclaimed the broken pieces from an old glass dump and created these earrings. Each piece comes with "The Story of the Glass" detailing what the glass was originally and the age of the piece! A truly unique way to own something historical and beautiful, AND help the environment!
Each piece of glass is carefully worked with to ensure no sharpness remains. Due to the handmade nature, products will vary slightly from the photo, but each pair will be unique for you.
Measuring 1/2" around with all sterling for a true quality piece of jewelry. Total drop length including the ear wire and glass is approx. 1". Includes rubber grips to keep them securly in place.
